Sheffield Hallam University’s estate at Collegiate Crescent is located within the leafy setting of the Broomhall Conservation Area, a short walk from the City Centre. The estate totals 7.5 hectares and extends from the Hallamshire Hospital down to the vibrant shopping and restaurant district of Ecclesall Road.

This forms a central part of Sheffield Hallam University’s 20 year masterplan which complements the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and Global Innovation Corridor concepts.

A development Partner is required to support investment and planning for a residential/mixed use development. The site is currently occupied by Sheffield Hallam University for teaching purposes, which, over the next 20 years, the University is planning a strategic withdrawal from the site and to release development packages for redevelopment under the framework of an overall masterplan. The first move will occur in the next 4 years with further moves in 5-year blocks. The intention is that each move is followed by redevelopment to provide residential accommodation (mix of new buildings and refurbishments) with re-purposing of existing accommodation into alternative uses such as business / care / hotel etc.
